Day 1
Victoria Falls arrival & sunset cruise
Arrive around noon and check in at Shrubs Lodge for one night on bed and breakfast. 15h30 — standard Victoria Falls sunset cruise on the Zambezi.
Day 2
Guided Falls walk, then Hwange
07h00 Victoria Falls guided morning walk and Devil's Pool. Leave for Hwange National Park at 14h00 and check in at Hwange Safari Lodge for three nights on bed and breakfast.
Day 3
Hwange — private game drives
06h00–09h30 private game drive. Afternoon tea at the waterhole watching game come down to drink, lunch at leisure. 15h00 sunset game drive with refreshments and blankets for the ride home. Dinner from 19h00, own account.
Day 4
Hwange — morning and sunset drives
05h45–09h00 morning game drive, breakfast and lunch at leisure, then a 15h00 private sunset game drive.
Day 5
Transfer to Matopo
07h30 transfer to Matopo via Bulawayo on luxury express coaches — the road surface makes this the more comfortable option. 16h00 check-in at Matopo Hills Lodge for one night, bed and breakfast.
Day 6
Matopo Hills & on to Masvingo
07h00 breakfast, packed lunches on request. 08h00 start the Matopo tour, viewing cave paintings en route out. 14h00 transfer to Masvingo, roughly three hours, and check in at Great Zimbabwe.
Day 7
Great Zimbabwe & Harare
07h30 breakfast, 08h30 four-hour guided tour of the Great Zimbabwe ruins, then the transfer to Harare. Overnight at Meikles Hotel on bed and breakfast.
Day 8 – 10
Mana Pools — 3 nights
09h00 fly into Mana Pools rather than driving the rough road. Three nights at a Mana Pools safari lodge inside the national park on bed and breakfast, with an evening game drive on arrival and full-day game drives on the following two days.
Day 11
Harare city tour & departure
Breakfast, then fly back to Harare for an afternoon city tour taking in Mbare and Epworth, before your transfer to Harare International Airport for the flight home.
